The Reno County Health Department strives to offer women and families comprehensive care from your first pregnancy test to family planning services once your baby arrives.
Care and services for expecting mothers is provided on a sliding-fee scale. A team of nurses, social worker, nurse practitioners and contracting physicians will care for you during your pregnancy.
Services include:
- Assistance with insurance and medicaid applications
- Referrals to community services
- In-home visitation and support during your pregnancy and after your baby arrives
Alongside community partners the Reno County Health Department offers prenatal education classes called "Bump to Baby". For more information about the class schedule and registration, email or call us at 620-694-2900.

Payment of Services
Clinical services are available on a "Sliding-Scale". Private insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare are accepted as well. Some service may require a payment at time of service.
To qualify for the sliding-scale pricing you must bring the following to your appointment:
- Proof of income for all adults, who are working, in your household
- Photo ID
- Proof of address
