Resolution 2026-14 STAR BOND PROJECT PLANS (PDF)

Public Hearing. Notice is hereby given that the County shall conduct a public hearing to consider adoption of the Project Plans on June 24, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Veteran’s Room at the Reno County Courthouse, 206 West 1st Avenue, Hutchinson, Kansas 67501. At the public hearing a representative of the County shall present the Project Plans, the County will receive public comment on the Project Plans.

Reno County is requesting sealed bids to perform concrete work on a few parking areas located at 4 W 10th Ave, South Hutchinson, Kansas, 67505.

PROJECT SCOPE

Parking Lot #1 – 106ft x 60ft x 6” – Removal of existing concrete and installation of concrete slab

Parking Lot #2 – 80ft x 38ft x 6” – Removal of existing concrete/asphalt and installation of concrete slab

Alternate #1 – 70ft x 25ft x 6” – Installation of concrete slab, no existing concrete to remove

 

 #4 rebar, grade 60, 16” on center on all 3 slabs.  

 Please list prices individually for Parking Lot #1, #2, and Alternate #1

DEADLINE

12:00pm on Thursday, July 23rd, 2026, with public Bid Opening to directly follow. Bids will be reviewed by staff the following week, with a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners at the next available meeting.


ADDITIONAL NOTES

  2. Reno County reserves the right to reject any bids, or to accept any bid.
  3. Contractors shall guarantee their bids for 45 calendar days
  4. All 3 slabs would not need completed at the same time, optional by contractor.
  5. Parking lot #1 meets against Morton Dr road, maintained by City of South Hutchinson.
