A voter must be affiliated to vote in a party's primary election. Any registered voter who has not declared a party affiliation prior to the election must make such a declaration at the polling place and vote in the primary.

Registered voters may apply for an Advance Ballot by Mail. A separate form is required for each election. Ballots begin mailing 20 days prior to election.

  • Just moved into Reno County
  • Just turned 18 years old or will be 18 before the next election
  • Just became a United States citizen
  • Have never voted before in Reno County


If you are already registered, you should re-register if you:


  • Moved within Reno County
  • Changed your name
  • Want to change your party affiliation
