Family Planning Services Offered at the Reno County Health Department
Birth Control and Family Planning Counseling
We offer information and resources on the different types of birth control and preventing pregnancy. As well as, counseling on which method is right for you. Parental consent is not required.
- Birth control methods available: Pills, Depo Injection, Condoms, Diaphragm, and Natural Family Planning
- Referrals also available for: IUD, Implanon, and the Patch
Well Woman Exams
These exams may include a breast exam, pelvic exam, pap smear, blood pressure & weight measurements. Referrals made for mammograms when necessary.
Lab Testing
Our lab offers testing for urinary infections, anemia, other vaginal infections, and sexually transmitted diseases.
Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) Testing
We offer testing for STD's such as gonorrhea, chlamydia, HIV, trichomoniasis, Hepatitis C, and syphilis.
Pregnancy Testing, Counseling, and Referrals
Pregnancy testing and necessary referrals offered for prenatal care, Medicaid services, family planning resources, and WIC enrollment.

Payment of Services
Clinical services are available on a "Sliding-Scale". Private insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare are accepted as well. Some service may require a payment at time of service.
To qualify for the sliding-scale pricing you must bring the following to your appointment:
- Proof of income for all adults, who are working, in your household
- Photo ID
- Proof of address
