Understanding Property Values: Reno County Appraiser Hosts Public Town Halls

Monday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. at the Blue Shoes Theater, 105 W. Main Street, Pretty Prairie

Saturday, Feb. 21 at 10 a.m. at Eastwood Church of Christ, 2500 N. Plum Street, Hutchinson

These Town Hall meetings will provide an opportunity for property owners and residents to learn more about how property values are determined, how market conditions affect values, and how property taxes are calculated under Kansas law.

The County Appraiser will explain the appraisal process, clarify common misconceptions, and answer general questions from the public. These are informational sessions focused on understanding valuation – not a forum for individual appeals.
