The Recovery Journey: Education, Connection, and Real-Life Impact event
"The Recovery Journey: Education, Connection, and Real-Life Impact" was presented Wednesday evening by the Reno Recovery Collaborative at Stringer Fine Arts Center.
The Reno County Health Department, serving as the backbone organization, partnered with the subcommittees of the Reno Recovery Collaborative to make this first annual National Recovery Month event a success!
The evening featured a resource fair with organizations dedicated to supporting individuals and families impacted by substance use disorder and mental health challenges.
Special thanks to Thomas Simmons (Reno County Health Department) and Valerie Taylor (Mirror Inc.) for their presentations on harm reduction, and the importance of making resources accessible to our community.
Thank you to everyone who showed up in support, and to the many individuals who poured their time, energy, and dedication into making this event possible!
This is just the beginning—the Reno County Health Dept., Reno Recovery Collaborative and partner organizations look forward to hosting more events in the future that shine a light on such important topics, right here in Reno County!
