Team Reno County Wins Challenge — United Way Is the Real Winner

Our friendly competition between Team Reno County and Team Hutchinson for the United Way of Reno County turned into a big win for the community members United Way serves!

Team Reno County claimed victory with an impressive $12,695.40, surpassing their $12,000 goal. Team Hutchinson also had a fantastic showing with $11,581.00, bringing the combined total to $24,275.40. These funds will directly support local residents through United Way of Reno County–funded programs.

City Manager Enrico Villegas and County Administrator Randy Partington joined in on the fun with the “Yolk’s On You” challenge. HR Director Helen Foster quizzed them on Reno County and Hutchinson trivia—and Randy answered every question correctly! As a result, Enrico bravely smashed four fresh eggs and one hard-boiled egg on his own head. Then, for the final question, Randy offered Enrico the chance to crack an egg on his head. To everyone’s surprise, it turned out to be another hard-boiled one!
