Soak Before You Toss: Safely Dispose of Fireworks

Shooting fireworks off for the July 4th holiday can be an exciting time!

But when you are done, make sure to dispose of the unused or spent fireworks SAFELY! 

Read the tips below to safely dispose of fireworks in order to prevent fires in trash cans or at the landfill!

Remember to: 

Let them cool. Soak them overnight. Bag them while wet. Put them in the trash tightly sealed or double bagged.
