Reno County Sheriff’s Office Announces Promotion of Three Deputies

Corporal Savannah Saiz started her career with RNSO on June 19, 2023 as a Deputy. While working as a Deputy, Saiz took on the additional responsibilities of Jail Training Officer which allows her to pass on her experience to newly hired Deputies in preparation for their career. Saiz has also assisted with several community events, and was selected as a Key Deputy making her responsible for maintaining all keys within our facility.
On October 5, 2025 Saiz was promoted to the rank of Corporal in the Reno County Correctional Facility. Corporal Saiz is joined today co-workers and is being pinned by her Sgt. Ted Smith.


Corporal Casey Borrowman started his career with the Reno County Sheriff’s Office on May 6th, 2024 as a Deputy. While working as a Deputy, he served with dedication and with an unwavering belief in exercising respect, ownership, and drive, as well as serving with the notion that compassion and control go hand in hand. Corporal Borrowman took on the responsibility and honor of being a Jail Training Officer to assist in creating safe, effective, and driven Deputies who answer the call to service with the agency. He also volunteered to be certified for the Crisis Intervention Team.
On October 5th, 2025, he was promoted to the rank of Corporal in the Reno County Correctional Facility. Corporal Borrowman is joined today by family and friends, and is being pinned by his father, Michael Borrowman.


Corporal Abraham Baca-Perez began his career with the Reno County Sheriff’s Office on November 4th, 2024, as a Deputy. During his time in that role, he took on additional responsibilities and advanced to the position of Jail Training Officer, where he plays a key part in mentoring and preparing new deputies. Through hard work, professionalism, and a strong commitment to the Reno County Sheriff’s Office, Abraham earned the respect of both his peers and leadership. On November 30th, he was promoted to the rank of Corporal in the Reno County Sheriff’s Office.
Today, Corporal Baca-Perez is joined by family, friends, and colleagues. He is honored to have his badge pinned by his wife, Priscilla Gutierrez whose support has been essential throughout his career.
