Reno County Landfill Temporarily Restricts Burned Materials Due to Fire Weather Watch

Because the National Weather Service has issued a Fire Weather Watch for extreme grassland fire danger, the Reno County Landfill will not be accepting burned loads or materials from 8 am to 5 pm on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. The landfill will still be open regular hours, and all other loads will be accepted as usual — only burned materials are restricted.
