The National Peace Officers Memorial Day Observance was held on Friday at the Law Enforcement Center, hosted by the Reno County Sheriff's Office and the Hutchinson Police Department, with the Kansas Highway Patrol in attendance.

This solemn tribute honored the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of law enforcement officers—both locally in Reno County and across the nation—who have given their lives in the line of duty.

Brigadier General Anthony Mohatt delivered an inspiring keynote address, reflecting on the profound commitment of those who serve and protect.

A heartfelt thank you to Reno County Crime Stoppers and the Civitan Club for providing lunch for all law enforcement personnel and support staff in attendance.
