The Reno County Community Baby Shower was a fabulous event!

There were:

33 Moms served

49 Support people present for Moms

27 of 33 Moms completed all needed stops

26 Businesses/Services were present

17 Pack and Plays were distributed

63 people were there to staff and run the booths, help with sign in, the quiz/video, demonstrations, translating and directional staff!

Thank you to all who helped to connect new and expecting Moms and their support people with all of the important local resources and information, while also including a few gifts and tasty treats!!! 
Reno County Health Department's Aubrey Heckathorn, Child Passenger Safety Technician, explains to Dakota Griffin the paperwork for the new car seat that he and Amya Johnson won at the baby shower.  
The Reno County Health Dept. has a Car Seat Check Program to help people make sure their children are buckled in correctly, just call 620-694-2900 for details.
