Julie Kallas, Reno County Health Department Preparedness Coordinator, kicked off a fun-filled time of preparedness drills and exercises by putting a playful twist on safety training!

Our Health Department employees went on a duck hunt around the building recently, searching for hidden ducks and special characters tucked away at critical safety locations — fire extinguishers, emergency kits, tornado shelter rooms, and AEDs. Those who found them scored some prizes!

And that’s not all!  We also added a little Easter egg magic — literally — hiding colorful eggs throughout offices to bring extra smiles and team spirit. It was a creative team-building exercise that kept everyone thinking about safety and preparedness in a fresh, engaging way.
