Due to High Winds, Landfill Not Accepting Burned Loads Friday, Jan. 16th

Due to Friday's Weather Alert with predicted northwest winds around 25-35 mph and gusts around 40-50 mph, the Reno County Landfill will not be accepting burned loads or materials on Friday, January 16, 2026. 

All other materials and loads will be accepted on Friday as usual, only burned materials are restricted.
