The annual Shop With A Sheriff event brought joy to Reno County children and their families as they received presents from Santa and Mrs. Claus while visiting The Clayworks at Disability Supports, 1125 N. Main Street on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Each year, the Reno County Sheriff's Office works with law enforcement officials in Reno County and local schools and creates a list of students who could use a little help during the Christmas Season. With money from donors and sponsors and help from Wal-Mart, volunteers purchase gifts for each child on their list and then the gits are wrapped by volunteers. This year the gifts were wrapped and stored at The Clayworks and then given out to children on Saturday.
